God’s Amazing Grace

Luke 15:20

For most Christians, one of our favorite scriptures is John 3:16. But for me, the scripture that never leaves my thoughts and heart is this one. "And he arose, and came to his Father, but when he was yet a great way off, his Father saw him, and had compassion...” Before I ever read this, I lived this! This parable wasn't written to the unsaved, but the saved. There was a time, when, as saved as I was, I had drifted so far from God and His will, I was "unrecognizable" because of all the dirt of the world.

"But when I came to my senses," I thought that, if God would allow me just to hang around Him, knowing I wasn't worthy to be a son anymore,  that would be good enough for me. But oh to my surprise, before I could get to God, God came out to me! Met me where I was, but didn't leave me where He found me!

He will do the same for you! You can't drift away so far that God won't see you turn back to Him. That's His amazing Grace! "I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see!"
