Our Mission:
A SIMPLE CHURCH WITH A KINGDOM FOCUS
The vision of the Canaan Christian Church has always been focused on making disciples for Jesus Christ. "It's about bringing people to Christ, and helping them to grow up in Christ." We take serious the charge the Lord has given to us; "Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo I'll be with you always, even until the end of the age." At Canaan we are committed to transforming lives. We want to see men and women walking with God in integrity. We want to see children growing up in Christ. We want to see families complete in Christ. At Canaan we Dare to Dream. We are a simple church with a Kingdom focus.
Community outreach
Thank you to members of the Canaan family and Hope Rescued who donated goods to help the homeless, and to the dozens who volunteered their time on Saturday, June 15 to help package and distribute these goods to the homeless in our city. Your support is a testament to your dedication to being a faithful servant of Christ.
We imitate God by serving others in humility, obedience and above all love. Let us continue to work together in service of others so that the unchurched and unsaved may see our good deeds and also glorify our Father in Heaven.
