The C.R.E.W. is the young adult ministry of Canaan Christian Church, Louisville KY under the leadership of Dr. Walter Malone, Jr., Pastor/Founder. Individuals, ages 19-39, shares the faith with other young adults through prayer, discipleship development and exciting fellowship opportunities, while affirming their unique gifts and talents.

Meet us in the Amphitheater at 12 noon on Saturday, March 23rd. The C.R.E.W is getting AMP’d up with holistic wellness in 2024 and we would love for you to join us!
• The first wellness mission will focus on our physical and nutritional health.
• You will receive interactive and practical knowledge that you can begin applying to your wellness journey immediately.
• Cheryl Turner and Nicole Dean, who have over 20 years of
experience in the field, will facilitate this learning experience.

Vision
The vision of the Young Adult Ministry is to equip and empower every young adult to grow in spiritual maturity, and become faithful and fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ.
At the Canaan Christian Church we believe that young adults represent the future and the next spiritual generation of the ministry of our church. Therefore, we are committed to their mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development in the Lord. We encourage and affirm the value and significance of young adults in our church “Now” in the spirit of the writer of Ecclesiastes. “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, I have no pleasure in them.” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
And in the words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy, “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:6-7)

Operation Help the Homeless
As they have before, during the fourth of July weekend Canaan’s Young Adult Ministry (the C.R.E.W.) went out into the community to minister to our homeless population. They distributed backpacks filled with water, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, other personal hygiene items and non-perishable goods that were donated by the members of Canaan Christian Church. Thank you, young adults for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community by helping to make a difference in the lives of those who are in need.
